Our next three partners will all be working on activities inspired by novels Dickens wrote in the chalet:
Kent Action for the Blind Art: Mess Rooms
Launched in 2006, the KAB Medway Art Group, affectionately known as ‘Team Biscuits’, meets fortnightly in The Mess Room, an inclusive space for artist-led sessions specifically designed for visually impaired individuals. The group has intentionally kept its size small to ensure a peaceful, focused space where creativity can thrive without distractions. Their activities will be inspired by Our Mutual Friend.
Medway Men in Sheds
Medway Men in Sheds serves as a vital sanctuary, significantly contributing to the improvement of men’s health and well-being. There are six free shed sessions over five days a week, all tailored by the men to suit a wide range of interests. The group members are aged 18 and over and for many sessions are a haven for purposeful engagement, social interaction, and skills development. This group will be working on activities inspired by The Signalman.
